Check before switching systems
Aquain is a stand-alone softening system, not a replacement cartridge for a BRITA filter head. Check the connection and appliance requirements. Additional tasks of your previous filter, such as dechlorination, particle filtration or partial demineralisation, may need a separate solution.
Set the water hardness yourself
With the mixer screw closed and sufficient capacity, Aquain delivers 0 °dH / 0 °fH. Using the mixer, you can blend in raw water and increase the residual hardness.
Match the setting to your appliance and check it with a water hardness test.
How Aquain works

01 · Connect
Check the connection size and appliance requirements. Fit Aquain between the water supply and the appliance and rinse as instructed.

The ion exchanger reduces water hardness. Set and measure the residual hardness to suit the appliance.

Check consumption and water hardness. When capacity is reached, regenerate with salt and rinse.
