No limescale in the tank – right from the start. Aquain removes the limescale while filling and thus protects pipes, fittings and pumps from limescale deposits.

Motorhome or caravan?
Soft water travels with you.
Whether campervan, large motorhome, truck camper or caravan behind a towing vehicle: Aquain softens the water before it reaches your tank. A permanent installation in the vehicle is not required for mobile tank filling.
Directly at the fresh water tank.
Place Aquain at the water connection and run the filling hose to the motorhome. After filling, disconnect the system again and stow it away.
Flexible at the campsite.
With a caravan, too, the water is softened before filling. Depending on the equipment, you fill the built-in tank or a clean transport container suitable for drinking water.

White deposits on the tap, clogged shower nozzles or limescale on water-bearing components: hard water can make itself felt in everyday camping life. Aquain tackles the cause – the hardness minerals in the filling water.
Pipes & fittings
The problem: Limescale can build up in waterways, valves and outlets.
Aquain’s contribution: Softened filling water reduces the basis for new limescale deposits.
Pump & water flow
The problem: Limescale deposits can impair water-bearing components. However, weak water flow can also have other causes.
Aquain’s contribution: Less limescale entering the system. Existing blockages or pump defects are not remedied by this.
Shower & sink
The problem: White limescale marks form on nozzles and fittings.
Aquain’s contribution: Fewer limescale residues in everyday use of the water.
Illustrative example: after several stays at places with hard water, the shower head shows white deposits. Aquain softens the water for future tank fillings; existing deposits are removed separately according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

With the right quick-connector version you connect Aquain to the water supply and your filling hose. Use hoses and couplings suitable for drinking water for filling the tank.
Connect & flush
Make clean connections, observe IN and OUT and flush Aquain according to the instructions.
Soften water
Check the residual hardness, fill the tank and supervise the filling. Observe the vehicle’s specifications for the filling connection.
Maintain & regenerate
Keep an eye on consumption, regenerate in good time and store the system according to the instructions – especially before longer periods of non-use.
Only use hygienically flawless drinking water. Aquain softens water and does not replace disinfection. The tank, hoses and water system must still be cleaned and maintained regularly.
Your coffee moment on the road

Start the morning with a coffee in front of the motorhome: you can also use hygienically flawless, suitably softened drinking water for the coffee machine on board. Fill the machine’s reservoir using a clean container – directly with freshly treated water or from a hygienically maintained drinking water system.
The right water hardness matters.
Observe the water requirements of your coffee machine. Not every device needs completely softened water. We help you find the right setting. Care and descaling continue to follow the machine manufacturer’s specifications.

Tank size, water hardness, travel frequency and available storage space determine the choice. The litre capacity describes the amount of water that can be treated before the next regeneration.

Aquain V2
For more frequent tank fillings and more water demand. More capacity before the next regeneration is due.
* Guide values at 20 °fH / approx. 11 °dH inlet hardness. Water hardness, setting and regeneration influence the actual capacity. Check the residual hardness regularly.
For large motorhomes and truck campers with higher consumption, V3 or V4 are also an option. Compare all models.

Your questions before the next trip.
Does Aquain have to be permanently installed in the vehicle?
No. In mobile use you only connect Aquain between the tap and the filling hose for filling the tank. Suitable connections and hygienically suitable hoses are important.
Does Aquain prevent every pump blockage?
No. Aquain reduces water hardness and thus the basis for new limescale deposits. Dirt, foreign bodies, biofilm or technical defects can be other causes of malfunctions and must be dealt with separately.
Does it turn any water into drinking water?
No. Aquain is a water softener. Use drinking water that is already flawless. Softening replaces neither germ removal nor the hygiene of the tank and hoses.
Can I use the water for coffee and tea?
If the source water is of drinking water quality and treatment and storage are hygienic, it can be used for this. For the coffee machine, the manufacturer’s water requirements also apply.
How often do I need to regenerate?
That depends on the water hardness at the respective location and the amount of water you use. Check the residual hardness regularly and regenerate according to the instructions for your model. When changing campsites, the inlet hardness can change.
How do I store Aquain if I do not use the bottle for a longer period?
Store the Aquain bottle completely filled with water and close both connections (IN and OUT) tightly so that as little air as possible can enter. Place the bottle in a cool, frost-free and protected place. This way it can remain out of service for several months. Hygienically flawless storage is still important.
What do I need to consider before reusing it after a longer storage period?
Reconnect Aquain to a flawless drinking water line and flush the bottle thoroughly with fresh water for at least 10 minutes before filling the fresh water tank. Do not let the flushing water run into the tank. Then check the residual hardness. Flushing alone is no guarantee of freedom from germs.
May I leave the Aquain bottle in the motorhome in winter?
Only if it is reliably protected from frost. The water-filled bottle must never freeze: freezing water can damage the housing or cause it to burst. Temperatures of about 3 to 5 °C are generally possible, provided the temperature reliably stays above freezing. Storage in a frost-free place is safest.
