Aquain V3 is a regenerable water softener – for coffee machines, glass washers and ice machines in catering. The ion exchange resin binds the hardness minerals calcium and magnesium. Once the capacity is reached, you restore the system with regeneration salt.
The capacity is up to 3’360 litres at 20 °fH / approx. 11 °dH inlet hardness. Harder water reduces the volume that can be treated. Consumption, space and the water requirements of your appliance determine the right choice.

The standard version includes two garden hose connectors with a pre-fitted tap. Double nipples 3/8 to 3/8 inch and reducing nipples 3/8 to 3/4 inch are available separately if required.
Before ordering, check the connection size and the hose length you need. If you need a different connection setup, we will help you find the right combination. Send us a photo of your connection via WhatsApp.
Determine the capacity based on your water hardness and check the residual hardness regularly. The optional Aquain flow monitor counts the litres used and warns you when the set limit is reached. It does not measure water hardness.
According to the instructions, regeneration takes about 40 minutes; the system is then rinsed. The amount of salt and the exact steps depend on the instructions for your model. Go to guides and videos.
Softened water is not fully demineralised pure water. Other dissolved substances remain. Additional water treatment may be needed for residue-free air drying on paint, glass or solar panels.

Applications
Limescale-free water for filling the caravan or motorhome tank – directly at the water connection, for example at the campsite. Softening needs no electricity, and the system is regenerated with salt.
Limescale-free shower water – fewer limescale stains on glass and fittings. Aquain is connected between the mixer and the shower hose. For the right connection, simply send us a photo of your fitting.
With softened water, less limescale builds up in your ice machine – on the evaporator, valves and lines. The result: clearer ice cubes, fewer breakdowns and less frequent descaling. Aquain is installed directly in the ice machine's water supply line.
